    To all my whānau at AliveNotDead.com, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year - ngā mihi o te tau hou (yeah, I had to go search that up. I'm not actually fluent in it like Jaine).

    I only have to be at work for half the day today, so I get to go home early! Woohoo!

    I hope everyone has an awesome festive season and I wish you all the best for 2009!


    Pohutukawa tree - the New Zealand Christmas Tree.

    I couldn't find a pic on the net that truly captured the beauty of this gorgeous tree. Sucks that today's weather is bad, cos there's three pohutukawa trees in a row down the road that look gorgeous. Should have captured them yesterday when it was a beautiful day.

    I have a baby photo where my head is turned like that. Everyone laughs and says I look just like a Tiki.
