Christmas shopping almost over

Have been doing a lot of Christmas shopping the last two nights. Funny, I still seem to have spent more on myself though!

I technically started on Friday during my lunch break, when I saw the new Outrageous Fortune Season 4 on DVD. And Gossip Girl was next to it. My older sister loves Outrageous Fortune, and she's been closely following Gossip Girl, so I thought it would make a great present. I only got Season 4 for her, even though she doesn't have any of the series, cos the only other one they had was Season 2, and it was full price.

I also found the Shrekmas Collection, which contained all four Shrek movies. We already have the first two, but the Shrekmas Collection was cheaper than buying the other two separately (in fact, it was only $10 more than buying the third movie on its own), so I got the Collection. My brother's been wanting to see Shrek 3 for a long time, and the great thing is he hasn't been requesting it, so he's not expecting it. He's also an Adam Sandler fan, so I threw in You Don't Mess With The Zohan.

I got back to work and started wrapping, and calculating how much I'd spent and realised there was no way I could have spent what I got charged, so I checked the receipt and I'd been charged twice for Gossip Girl. There was no one round at work (I later realised there was a staff meeting, which is why everyone was gone) so I rushed back down to the shops and got my money back. I was back at my desk before the meeting was finished, so I don't think anyone realised.

Anyways, Sunday night I went shopping with my younger sister and found that the same store down at our local mall had the other seasons of Outrageous Fortune and they were on sale, so I bought the rest of Outrageous Fortune, so now my sister has the whole set (other than the Christmas movie from last year, which, come to think of it, I still haven't seen).

So that's my older sister and my brother sorted. I'm gonna get my younger sister a gift voucher from her favourite sports store. She wants to get another tennis racquet so she can put it towards that.

I've also got mum and dad sorted, so that's my family sorted.

We went shopping again last night and I found a really nice travel clock/jewellery box on sale 2-4-1, so I bought 2 of them initially, then thought they'd make a great Christmas present, so I bought six more for some work mates and my female BodyJam instructors. I also have a lot of HK keyrings which my sister brought back for me, so I've wrapped half of them up and now have work colleagues sorted too. I can always wrap up the rest of them if I don't have enough.

Just gotta sort out a few friends and I'm done. Have no idea what to get them though! Might have to grab a few more of those travel clock/jewellery boxes.

As for shopping for myself, I've bought a lot of dresses in the last two months. I have about 5 new dresses! I've got the dress for my friend's wedding sorted. It's much more elegant than I would normally wear, but it was too gorgeous not to get. They had a buy one, get the second half price deal and there was this other dress, which I had to get, so I figured I could get it for half price so it was totally worth it. My younger siblings are going to pay me back for them, so that's my Christmas present from them. I don't mind knowing what I got, but I like to surprise other people.

I'm so glad tomorrow's only half a day at work. Can't wait.
