Trying not to vent, but I think I still am....

RenRen asked me to repost my comments from her blog into my own blog. But I'm sure you've all read enough about the PA next to me.

Let's just say, I can't wait for 9 January to arrive. Half the reason is because of the job, but the other half, to some extent, does have to do with her.

Fortunately, my tolerance level is pretty high, and while I've had some moody weeks where I just can't deal with her (which results in pretty short, sometimes one-word, snappy answers to her questions), I haven't yet completely snapped. During the worst week, where it was kinda obvious I was fed up with her and her questions and shouting, she asked me whether I was fed up with my job. At first I said no, then admitted that I was. Which was true. She said she was glad because she thought I was fed up with her. I didn't wanna tell her I just couldn't stand her.

I kinda hate when my "thou shalt not lie" mechanism kicks in right when she asks me if she's difficult to work with. I think she knows it, but still wants to be told that she's great to work with. Well, unfortunately, I always pause when she asks me that question, and figure it's already too late by then, so I say yes, but try to cover it with niceties, so that it doesn't sound like I'd rather we didn't have to work together.

Anyways, I must be in a good mood today, cos I've answered all her questions with nice and helpful answers. I even answered all her phone calls (sometimes I ignore them. Her mum calls a lot. Although, I like her mum. Her mum sounds very nice on the phone. Then again, Ms PA sounds nice on the phone too. It's when she hangs up that she gets angry, and I'm the one who has to listen to it all). It might have helped that the girl who used to work with me (the one who left to study in Auckland in February and came back to visit the day before I went to Auckland for my week's course) came to visit and we had a good ol' chat.

Anyways, time for me to catch the train to go to the gym. I get to leave half an hour early on Tuesdays and Fridays to attend BodyJam, since I arrive 20 minutes early and on the other days, leave 15 minutes late.
