As I told you before, the plastic shell of one of my old skates broke, so that I had to get new ones...

They just changed the wheels of my inlineskates to skids . I just picked them up from the store today. It's a lot cheaper than new good ice skates

Oh, as you noticed I can upload pics spontaneously now .
I went to the store where I bought the last card reader and they gave me a new in one instead, which works fine now *jump for joy*

i like ice skating...its fun...im not that good at it...i learned to rollerblade before i learned to ice skate and it was no where near the same i thought (maybe thats just me)...i can rollerblade easily...but i suck at ice skating...he he...i need to go more often...maybe seeing its summer now i might look into it

jippii, is that's all ;) why don't you buy me a car? ... I have no need for new sock's anymore you see... there was hard thing to fight whit Kuhaija out in the snow, but man it was fun when Leevi (the dog) was all the time attacking to Kuhaija and it was dark out there but when it wasn't i was hunting whit fox that leevi follow when I walk home to make some ... ;) ... yep yep.. that must be it! .. oh yeah, and Now I'm watcing Totoro ... can't remember name fully ;) yep, I hope this didn't make you think to much!

Nancy, inline skating comes very close to ice skating - the moves are basically the same ;)

So you can inline skate to the rink and then switch to blades and then back to wheels again to roll home? Ha ha, I guess it's not that easy. I just cleaned up an old pair of skates to use in a decoration I'm putting on my front porch for Christmas. I'll take a picture. Now I just need a Flexible Flyer sled.

Hi,

Is in-line skating similar to ice-skating?  As we only have one ice skating venue in Singapore, I have never skated before because of the crowd.

Recently, my daughter started picking it up after our trip to NYC.  I requested that I join her but I am really afraid of falls.

It looks like you can do both.  Any tips on this.  I have not decided to join my daughter yet.
