Sorry for the absence!

Hi everyone! Long time no see...

I hope you will forgive me for not being around for a while but I think you will understand when I tell you how busy I am...

At the moment I am directing the dubbing for a Vampire animation series that my company (yes I now have my own production company, Alkeme) is co-producing. So I've been in the studio all day every day for the last couple of months.

However, while I'm doing that the more exciting stuff is going on behind the scenes - our TV Series "I/Nation" has been picked up by one of the top Hollywood producers and we are in the process of negotiations and contracts right now with an eye to beginning pre-production in the spring and hopefully shooting in summer... I promise to keep you abreast of developments!

Unfortunately that's it for now - I have to go back to the studio...

Some of you may know about my upcoming project I/NATION. Shooting in Barcelona with an international cast we are in the process of finalizing some very interesting deals around the world. More news will follow as I have it, in the meantime here's a little taste!

Poke a Prez

Not many of you know who I am. Even less of you know that I'm an actor.
All that is fairly normal!
What almost none of you know is that I co-founded a company that creates Apps for mobiles.
We have a few game apps out there already on sale but we recently created a new one based on the "Whack a Mole" game from arcades.

It's called "Poke a Prez" and it's available on Apple and Android.

Ok, there are a lot of game apps around I hear you say. Why should you spend you 1$US, / 0.79€ etc on this one?

The answer is simple. Some of the proceeds from this one go to CHARITY, specifically the Rush-Miller foundation who provide tandem bikes to blind kids so that they can ride a bike.

So please - it's not a lot of money for anyone! Get downloading, have some fun and also have YOUR say in who YOU think should be the next President of the USA - each time you post your high score we anonymously count your vote and it goes on our website, pokeaprez.com. See what the world thinks!

DEFEATED short film

DEFEATED (Vencidos) has been selected in the top 22 short films out of more than 400 for the Shots 2012 International film festival.
If you're in Madrid on the 31st of May check it out on the big screen!

Simon Brading was raised and educated in London.

He has starred in numerous short films, advertising campaigns and also a feature film "Checkout" shot in Sitges, Barcelona.

Recently he has started writing screenplays in partnership with Timothy Gibbs, co-founding the Alchemy Company.
He will be starring in I/NATION, a new series produced by Alchemy shooting in late 2012.

Before becoming an actor he danced in classical ballet and contemporary companies around the world including K Ballet (Tokyo), Vienna Festival Ballet and Santamaria Compañia de Danza (Madrid).
Despite having danced his fair share of princes and other principal roles he freely admits to not having been the best dancer in the world.

As well as acting, Simon uses his experience in dance and his high level of martial arts to choreograph and direct action in films.

He currently lives in Barcelona and maintains roots in London.
