being sick and need to work

Sono here is another blog..Hehe..tends to blog when I feel stress... So a positive way to relax yeah?

Was a hectic week last week, coz I need to close the claims in the pharmacy (in australia, a lot of medicines are subsidised by the government, the patients pay a certain amount of co-payment as fixed by the government, and the remainder comes out of parts of the health budget i.e the Pharmaceutical Benefit scheme). So the claim is made by the pharmacy providing the medication so that the government will pay us back! 2 boxes full of claims to be sorted out and double checked to make sure the required details are on there, there are no missing scrīpts (so that we can get the money) etc etc. Rushed everything through last friday and managed to send it off this Monday.

This Monday is an usual Monday for me, nothing too major. My boss helped me to do my monthly big order!! Yeah!! This time he is on the heavy hand, he ordered a full month's worth of the "frequent user"-line drugs. Hehe..That is the benefit of being a boss! He can make what ever decision he wants and wont be scolded!!!! Usually he wont allow me to be heavy handed, i am told to order two-third of the usage only!!!

Everything starts on Monday night. I was not sure whether it was due to the slightly warmer night or I had a temperature. Cant really sleep... And at 4am, I started to realise what is going on.. Gastro bugs??? I got a loose motion every hour until it is time for me to get ready for work! So 4 times?? Just right after my breakkie, got another 2..sorry for being gross, but it was really nothing left for me after all. Still went in to work, but with no energy, rushing to the toilet every now and then etc. Was begging my boss to let me have half a day off, he didnt say OK!! Still let me struggle there...Fine...Since i was so sick, i just took my time in putting away the huge stock ordered in. And finally around 4pm, i was geting better, my collegues said the old MC has come back, cheeky and being naughty again..hehe... I think I could have done better IF i was allowed to go home and rest (yeah..didnt get enough sleep la)

This morning (wednesday) the diarrhoea attack comes again. Twice after my breakfast. So quickly sms my boss (with my very limited phone credit which is due this weekend) saying that I will be late today. I was worry free before, coz I assume there should be enough people to help him until I come in later (yeah..I got my pharmacy student who is on holiday to come in and work 9-6 so that I dont have to work as a shopgirl.. and my retail manager would be there too).. At 9.34am, when I stepped into the pharmacy, wanting to put out the flag for ear piercing, my boss shouted..dont put it out..Argh! My retail manager didnt come (she is the one doing the ear-piercing, so if she is not in, we wont put the flag out so that wont mislead the customers!! She got migraine apparently and taking the whole day off !!(yeah..now i learnt a lesson, if i feel unwell, shouldnt go in and work AT ALL, need to be smart)

The worst is yet to come, because I was not well, and my mind was concentrating on GOING HOME EARLY.. I FORGOT to organise the two deliveries that were due on yesterday. Argh..And my boss showed me a shitty face coz he was scolded by one of the customers's daughter saying that we are not delivering a professional service blah blah blah.. The first sentence he told me after that was" do u want to walk there and deliver??" (coz they are due for their morning doses already).. It was a fair bit of walk...20minutes or so. And i cant tell that he was joking. That scared the whole lot out of me.. Then i did tell him that I can take a bus to go there, and he banned my idea. My another shopgirl is coming in 10.30am to work in replace of my retail manager. So he planned to ask her to drive and deliver (I dont have a driver license yet...) The whole morning i dont dare to talk to my boss until he asked me to make coffee for him.........

I just hope the rest of the week is going to be smooth for me. I have disappointed my boss enough and near his threshold I believe. He wasnt happy with the level of knowledge I got (I am supposed to do one hour of self-study everyday after work..and i havent been doing so)

I think it is time for me to catch up with my study and the assignments. I can see them piling up in one corner there..sigh
