Well, been taking buses for many years. It is one of the forms of public transports that you will actually see the driver and feel that they are actually breathing the same air as you...lol...

 

This year in Box Hill, I have been taking bus almost every working days.. This is because I am lazy to walk to work..that takes half an hour up and down hills.. Hehe..so instead i chose to pay for a zone 2 monthly tickets of AUD60 something... And takes a bus near my house to the centro then change it to another bus to work.

 

So have been seeing regular faces of bus drivers (and of coz some new faces every now and then)... there is one driver that i dont like..he is almost at least 10 minutes late for the bus that I am supposed to take...ARGH!!! Well, have to blame it to myself too, always get the buss that at late as possible....So end up? I am quite often late to work....

 

Some drivers, they dont care whether you have sat down, just accelerate as soon as you finish validating the tickets, and who knows you might trip over...

 

But today, I met an interesting bus driver.. he is very nice! Knowing that tonight is so cold, he arrived at the bus stop quite early. Instead of parking the bus aside and went down for a smoke or two, he chose to open the door, stayed in the bus and let the passengers in! What a rescue to those who are shivering in the cold wind. And after he left, he saw a lady missed the bus, he drove for a round and then came back for the lady (of coz he did explain what he is doing to us fellow passengers)...

 

He greeted every passenger who come in, ask if they are well, and also wishes us for a good evening when we got down the bus. Isnt he very nice?

As a continuation of the previous blog... uncertainties.
i dont ever think that I like change... That was the main reason that I gave up and did not to go to singapore to study. I applied to Monash and started here in February 2003, and was waiting to see if NUS accept me or not (coz I was rejected the year before with my UEC exam). Yeah..With that kind of A-level result, sure they would!! But since I started to settle in Melbourne at the time offer was made, so I decided to continue on here.

 

Well, 4 years has gone just like yesterday. During my 4 years here, I had moved my house three times. Dont really like moving house, all these happened for a reason. Otherwise I would choose to stay on in the same house.

 

Now back to the topic, I ever told my boss that I prefer a settled environment, more up for having close relationship with the customers,not really up for changing all around the places. So he thought that I wont like a locuming job... yeah... Now there will be a chance offered to all the trainees in the group... A locuming job...will I be up for it? Would be pretty challenging as a first year out.. Using the new dispensing system and ordering system if it is different to what I have at the moment.. Will I be up for it?? Somemore I am a "slow-heater", i.e i take a long time to get used to the environment and miggle with the staffs and customers. Will I be a good locum in that case?

 

 

I really dont know..can someone give me some advices?

well, supposed to be studying at the moment, but was sorting out the bills and so just then. A bit hard to calculate to make it fair for everyone though...You know, it is winter and not everyone use heating...sigh..

also was thinking what exactly I will be heading to in the next few months. Soon it is end of July, so 2 months away from board exam and yet I still feel that I know nothing... Need to start doing my assignments and workbooks and plans and also get on to study!

I know that it is quite likely that I am not staying full time with my current boss after I finish my hours. Well, what should I do after? I still dont know yet, hate this situation when there are lots of uncertainty..just like me in last year, not sure where i will find a job, where to move to etc. This year may make it a little bit easier, planning to stay in this rental property till July next year if everything runs smoothly. I am definately not going to move around christmas and new year time, too stressful!

 

Another uncertainty ahead of me is driving, been through a lot of lessons and hopefully will get my licence soon. After that, what to do? Might get a car, planning to get a new car, though I dont have enough money yet. Now I got to be very carefully in terms of financial planning, i need to make sure i have enough money to sustain my living IF i am not working after November. A lot of uncertainties could happen too, like change of housemates? Just the worst case scenario la..

 

Can anyone stop me from thinking or worrying these and get back to my study?

 

What car would be good if i want to choose between Honda Jazz, Toyota Yaris and corolla??
Any input?
