Thomas Lim is the director and producer of the successful Chinese movie "Roulette City". He is also known as an actor for principal roles in Chinese TV dramas such as "Pojian erchu", and theater plays like "The Wizard of Oz" musical (as the Cowardly Lion).
His directorial work "Roulette City" was commercially released in Japan, Singapore and China, and the TV series he'd starred in were aired nationwide in China, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia.
For his contributions to the Macau film and theater industry, Thomas received the "Outstanding Artist Award" from Macau's HK Drama Association in 2014.

土生土長於新加坡的林毅煒1999年開始成為演員，在新加坡開始戲劇演出。林氏2002年前往倫敦，取得戲劇系碩士學位。先後在倫敦、香港、澳門及新加坡參與劇院演出、擔任導演和編劇。2004年，林氏到北京進行中國功夫的培訓，亦成功地展開其電視、電影演員的生涯，經常在美國和中國製作中扮演主要角色。林氏將背包旅遊視為最愛之一，已穿越過30個國家和中國的16個省份的他在2006年將旅遊經歷寫入在港澳兩地上演的獨角戲 《鼠牛日記》中。
在2008年，林氏主演的電視劇 《破繭而出》在中國中央8台(CCTV8) 全國播映 。林氏也剛完成了其首部執導的長片電影《輪盤》。
