Umit Demirbas grew up in Germany. He has been training different types of martial arts since the age of 16. In the year 2000 he served in the Turkish army receiving training in close combat and fire weaponry.
In 2004 he finished his training as a stuntman. In 2008 and 2009 he spent his time training in New York City at the Michael Howards Acting School.
