No, don't check the calendar, it's not xmas yet :P
But it was a long weekend, with the Mid-Autumn Festival on Sunday and a day off today :D
I went to Ken Tsumura's apartment on Friday night with a bunch of other colleagues. Ken is our Japanese American producer in Imagi, and he invited some people there, so I (being smart that I am) tagged along :)
We played a lot of drinking games.. like the dice.. and the Dai-Sai game (guessing whether the next card is big - dai - or small - sai), and the number 7 game, and the Pick-a-topic-to-name-things-on game, as well as the 5-10-20 game.
Can't explain too much here.. I don't know how to.
Anyway... yeah so that was pretty nice.. getting to know our producer :) and his dog Kelly. As well as teaching him not to say 9 in chinese using the wrong tone.. which would mean the f-word..
Then on Sat I watched Happy-Go-Lucky with CC. It was great, because why? It was FREE! Thanks a lot to CC who's got connections with the film industry (better than mine), and got us coupons to see the movie :D It's an interesting movie, a bit like "Once", but slightly different.
Then on Sunday nite, after dinner, me and my 2 cousins went to Victoria Park.. there were a few lanterns here and there, but not many.. so it was a really quick tour.
Before that, at home, we had a 3-country conference using Skype. My cousin in Sydney Australia, my sister, mum, and dad in Jakarta Indonesia, and me, my uncle's family, and grandma in Hong Kong. At the same time, my sister in Taiwan was calling us on the phone. And after she called us, she called my dad. Haha.. so it's now a 3.5-country conference. Skype is cool :)
Today.. since we had nothing to do at all... me and Sophia went to watch Mamma Mia! It was either that or Under the Same Moon, but because Mamma Mia! is available in Causeway Bay, we went to see that instead.
