So okay it's the 4th already, but it's still just the first week of 2008, ain't it? Happy New Year!
I'm back from Jakarta, and already I'm going crazy with stuff.. I have no idea why.. i get so many phone calls on my first day back to work..
Today, though, I brought a lot of food from Indo to work :D. Last night I spent 2 hours frying the Indonesian shrimp crackers for my colleagues :D They loved it! So, thats good :) At least i get some satisfaction hehehe..
My colleagues in my "U" (the section i'm sitting in) went to Philippines, Thailand, Macau, and Taiwan. So today it was like.. after-trip party! There's the taiwanese bookmark, Taiwanese 'iron egg', Taiwanese green tea cake (tastes like Muaci..) and Beef jerky. Then there's the Filipino key ring (made from wood, in the shape of hammers, pencils, house, fat pencil with a strawberry, guitar, and... guys get to choose from an extra choice of.. ahem.. er.. guy's genitalia..). Then there's the Thailand stuff, which was another key ring made of iron which has a clasp so you can click your keys on your trousers or something, with the word "CHINA" printed on the side.. hahahahha... oh and also an HB pencil.. and Thailand squid jerky..
Mine was all food: the small tart/pie with coconut pineapple stuffings, chocolate cookies, shrimp crackers, honey roasted peanuts, kopiko candy, fox candy (to be eaten later), silver queen bars, astor wafer (to be eaten later) and.. i dunno what else..
Even Ray got some~! Haha.. lucky sim ppl.. suddenly there's food out of nowhere.. hahaa..
