I was surfing on Youtube, as usual, searching for interesting videos.. and I watched a lot of robots/humanoids/androids clips.. Well.. I'm most impressed (still) at Asimo by Honda. If you've seen it dancing.. you'll know which robot this is..
Here's an ad of Asimo.. the new version can run at 6km/hour, with sense of directions (can run in rounds..), go up the staircase AND down, can walk hand-in-hand with you, and bring a tray of coffee to you.. How difficult is it to walk & run up or down or left or right, with two feet? Well, I spent a whole week just doing a straight forward walk cycle at work.. so go figure how a robot do it in real time, on its own.
It's so cute... but scary at the same time.. like.. A.I. or Matrix.. gives me the shivers sometimes.. :S
