"Prokofiev's Peter & Wolf" animation concert

7個評論Vacation is ended. it's time to get back to work after re-charging.1st Oct night, i've been to the peter n the wolf animation concert which is held by the HK Sinfonietta. tht's reli fantastic! Besides peter n the wolf, HK Sinfonietta also played some other works of Prokofiev. Prokofiev is a USSR composer, pianist and as well as a conductor. The peter n the wolf animation,the main-dish of this concert, is made based on his orchestral work by England and Poland animation team. The story is about a little boy peter how to fight against the big wolf. It is exciting and philosophic. At the end, peter let the wolf go which would make ppl to think.Since peter n the wolf is a work used for art education in USSR in the past. The director seems to be emphasizing the communist soceity in the animation. Cruel, grey and depression could be found in the animation if u pay attention to it. i believe tht the director made this animation not just simply re-telling a tale.

These 2 books are great and made me learn a lot. n i read again some of the readings by Italo Calvino. Wht a fruitful vacation! =]
