[UPDATE] Chilling Friday & Roommates Radar Saturday!

Friday, got off work and went to the rally tht Kit Hui mentioned in her blog regarding NYC threatens the first amendment and the laws and regulations regarding filming, shouting, biking, parading, and dancing in public. quite a few ppl came to support with lots of props made of card board boxes with stencils of video camera and bike. there was even a choir group tht dress up like the church choir, and sing, and preach! i thought tht was a little bit too much or it's just plain me, a freshman in rally, who never been to one, and don't know what's going on. anyway, anyone who wanna support and prevent this laws and regulations being regulated, please sign the petition at www.pictureny.org. you can also read about the rally at the site.

next, i hang out with my friends at a gallery opening down at SOHO. found out bout where Donna Karen crib is, and also the beautiful Claire Danes. apparently they live right next to each other!!! and according to my friend (he's a manager at a store across the street where Donna Karen live, and the gallery was just underneath his store), Donna is not a polite individual. hahaha!!! sigh...it's always hard to be someone of the center of attention to the public...haiz.

then i went home around 11pm...watch my Death Note anime and fell asleep!

Saturday. first thing i wake up doing, post up my flyer for peeps to promote and get him/herself more chance of winning the Hawaii contest! peeps, make sure you all make use of it!!!!! go win it!!!!

then...it was just a really slow day of doing 'nothing'. haha!! just the sound of the TV from the living room where my roommate was watching baseball, and the sound of my Hawaiian Breeze fan spinning its heart out to cool me down, reading 'The Fuck Up', which is about a man life in New York getting fuck up at his own action, and trying to get back up in the city. i like this book cause i can visualize things he mentioned and describe in the book. very interesting. it's like reading his blog. haha!! then...i fell asleep at 4.30pm...*zzzzzzz*

woke up at 8pm, hungry hungry!!! and snap at my own head cause i slept too long. can't even take a walk down Chinatown anymore. most shops close at 7pm. sigh. but i went down for food and my favorite ice cream, Ginger and Black Sesame in sugar cone. YUM YUM!!!!

got home, roommates trying to persuade me to go to Rock the Bells concert ft Rage Against the Machine and a few more like Wu-Tang Clan, and Mos Def. the ticket is epensive!! plus it's a whole day event out at Randalls Island (east of NY). i really don't have the money to spent...but then, they decide to pay 2/3 of the ticket price so i will go with them!!!! i'm SO LUCKY to have them as my roommates...really appreciate it.



then, another interesting thing happen was one of my roommate wants me to help him modify a pic he found for his desktop wallpaper. below is the image.
