Linkin Park (LP) much anticipated album is finally out on May 15th, 2007.
they came out with a new image tht gear towards the care of our mother earth, hence the new logo. i don't like because it looks just like the logo for International Paper. the tree look alike (or triangle) symbol is so widely/commonly use in environmental or global care issue everywhere. i rather them sticking to their old logo.
same goes with their music. they are changing the music direction with help from veteran producer Rick Rubin, who's worked of late
with Neil Diamond (12 Songs) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers
(Stadium Arcadium). i can say...the album is definitely different.
when i first listen to it, i was so disappointed cause it was loosing the LP kick ( i don't know how to explain in word). however, the more i listen to it, the songs grow in me. i came to like a few out of the 12 (all posted here in MV and MP3). so far, this album is probably my least favorite LP album. BUT wouldn't hurt to catch their concert!!! LOL!!! (i missed a private show in NY...i guess it was stated 'private', it must be for LP Underground memebers only...still, *sigh*)
LINKIN PARK // What I've Done
NOTE: one of the MV tht i really like. nice cinematography, great music sync/editing, and it sends out message.
no, its not me in the picture, thats from a Star Wars cross promo ad that they did in Japan when Episode 3 came out. its Darth and some school girls using their mobile phone (it was for a mobile phone company).
That reminds me of a movie I saw on the plane with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. He was a has been with a hit single but then the one after was a flop until he met Drew who inspired him to write another hit song.
