alright. i think i left of with my last blog with a birtday party blog. so here it is!
my ex-roommate, Ran Tao, she always has been celebrating her OCT 7 birthday with another friend of hers from her undergrad school (MIT), Jimmy Noonan. so, this past week, it was their 7th Anniversary celebrating their OCT 7th birthday together! what made it better was my fairly new roommate, Erik Castro, (yup, you guess it right) --- HE TURNS OUT TO HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDATE!!! so, TRIPLE OCT 7 celebration! [eldest, Castro, follow by Jimmy, than Ran]
the party was a blast! not much of crazy dancing but meeting each different set of friends from these 3 individuals! fun fun fun!!!!

also...as for my new profile pic, yes it's from the night of the party, i experienced the stupid ostrich hiding in a hole when it was afraid behavīor! i usually don't like ppl taking photos of me, unless i know him/her. but this guy, just met at the party, he borrowed my camera, and he wanna take a snap of me! what's my reaction???
man...now i felt so stupid. hahah! but of course i was just joking around as well..but I LOVE THIS SHOT!!! thanks!!! hahahaha!!!!! i was hiding behind the glass of water feeling safe from the camera!!!! LOL!!!! *laugh laugh laugh* but it was great tht i experienced it, and now laughing at myself!!!! LOL!!!

as for past weekend, i met up with w-bird for some Williamsburg photo-hunt! it was great to see her again, and this time, we found MORE AND MORE in common in terms of point of view in different things!!! we chat for a LOOOONG time!!! *smile* love it!
so, in w-bird blog, she showed you the rock star biker me with my buddy mona lisa, here i only capture photos of colors and patterns. i like portraits too...but i can't do it in a 'walk-by' portrait shoot. i need to observe, and snap. but tht weekend, we were more like exploring and 'snap'. but sometimes, i think we were so much in our conversation, we forget our purpose of shooting photos. hahahhah!!!!

this building is rusted all-over. what a chracteristic. but i only manage to get the fire escape stairs. i love the overlapping patter it creates when you view from below. i would love to try on where i view from top.

the day was beautiful. we had fun. thanks for the suggestion w-bird!
