got a roommate subletting one of my apt room, and to celebrate her going back to ohio for school, we decided to eat japanese dinner!!!
a quick flyer made to spread the 'eating' event. lol!
location, Yakitori Taisho at Saint Marks (Astor Place, 8th Street between 3rd and 2nd Ave). famous for its grilled skewers of anything from mushrooms and chicken to quail eggs and gizzards. really japanese 'home style' atmosphere, with very little room space. have to wait around 30-45mins to sit. but it's worth the wait. have to make sure you are not SUPER hungry if you wanna go there! eventhough it taste good, but please, don't hurt your stomach for it!
highlight of the night, a plate call Taisho Don. rice with 3 different skewers, beef, chicken, and my favorite chicken meatball. TASTY!!!!! man...i'm hungry now writing this blog....hmm. price are reasonable, but definitely enjoy the environment, and of course some of them cute japanese chef! LOL!!!!
my yummy Taisho Don dish. i want my chicken meatball!!!
anyway, we had lots of fun from just waiting till filling our stomach with delicious food!! anyone visitng NY SHOULD GO THERE!!! if you need a guide, tell me! i'd be more than happy to take you there!!!!!!!!!! YUMMY!!!!
