friday night: BBC + ice cream store

so, last night, i stayed home watch BBC, and then went to the ice cream store. say what? hahaha!
it's THE Billionaire Boys Club/THE Ice Cream Store. [BLOG]
well well...so this is old news, but again, I LOVE PHARRELL WILLIAMS!!!
(but i'll be damn, i still have a hard time spelling his name! hahaha!!!)
anyway, i'm more of a visual person or...just an excuse of not using my memory cells. :P
ok. so. topic.
was walking to a friend's gallery with another friend, past by The BBC/The Ice Cream Store on West Broadway. this really friendly smile from this guy working at the store (never asked his name. :P) stopped me for mere second. then the interior of the store capture my attention. i decide to walk in. :)
i like the store (more than the Bape store in SoHo). shoe in ice-cream display with wafer pattern shoe. chatted with the guy and he said to go upstairs. turn my head, saw the stairs. dark lit with blue lights. like a night club stairs. but my attention was on the quote, gosh i can't remember the whole line correctly (there goes my memory capability) but it basically means wealth is not just about having the pocket full. it's more on the mind and soul. wah. *mad* now i gotta go back to the store to memorize the quote. hahaha!!!
the art direction in the store doesn't really seems to relate from one to another. it's like stepping into another space from downstairs to up.
ice-cream store > club stairs > infinite space tunnel

interesting experience. talked to another guy tht works there. his name is Chris (yes, i got his biz card this time. hahah!) he's fun. real real real friendly guy with crazy hair. hahaah! i asked if Pharrell ever come to the store, he answer, "...yea. you just missed him like 5 minutes ago." for some reason i believe it! hahahaha!!! (what a FOOL)
one thing i hate about the store, the fitting room (which i was told by Chris tht it lead to another great space. i believe him.) the lighting in the room is SO WRONG!!!! it completely ruin the whole experience... :(
and i TOLD Chris to convey the msg to Pharrell if he ever, really ever visits the store.

ROOM!!! It's ruining the costumer experience! Imagine trying on clothes
in tht room???" *shake head*

BUT the whole "no corner design" (Chris pointed this out to me) of the upstairs space, and mirror effect to create an infinite/continuous space tunnel is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. [this space apply to both the actual starry space wallpaper and the term for volume/capacity]

a really nice store tour for my friday night! imagine if i can have a room like this? *daydreaming*
one question. [being lazy here. :P]
does anybody know what is or who is or how is the BBC 'logo' or 'symbol' or 'icon'
came about???
if not...google time for me.
oh...one more thing. from BBC/IceCream blog, i got the info on KAW is having an exhibition in ny at the Gering & Lopez Galerry from nov 6 - dec 23
so, who wants to go?
