was given 2 tickets by client to the US Open on the past friday. female, marion bartoli vs lindsay davenport. male, andy roddick vs ernest gulbis. of course, male match was more intense!
bad weather delayed the women's match. hence man's got delayed. me and my co-worker/big sister didn't sit till the end. andy won.
however, i love this kid, gulbis. they both (andy and gulbis) have the same birth date on that friday midnight, august 30, technically saturday. :P gulbis turn 20! heck man! nowadays kids are DAMN TALENTED!
his height gave him great 'ace' serve, but i'm mostly impress with his drop shot (tapping the ball just over the net. credit Wiki!) i can see andy got frustrated with this trick cause gulbis found andy's weakness, andy's not good at the net. tht's what made the match so interesting.
not to say i'm good at predicting, but i can see future in this kid. hahaha! also, during the game, i can see how andy is mad cause he's being fool around by this kid! andy is the holder of the youngest player to win the US Open in 2003!
yes. ok. having to see the amount of image i posted of him, yes indeed. i love this kid. another youngster in sports to watch out! the first is FERNANDO TORRES (Spain/Liverpool)!!! ALL YOUNG KID!!! and yea, i'm all melted for curly hair guy! hahahahahah!!!!!
tht was my friday night. :) took some photos at the stadium too. will share once i get hold of them. it's like a US Open village there, at Flushing Meadows. great experience!
