Coincidences, I dunno what ever people call it but I have experienced that so much since the Malay trip.

For everything seemed to have been planned ahead to fall into place one at the time in a sequence.
Last week, on Wednesday, I received a ticket from a friend, totally ON A FLUKE (PURE LUCK)
BASIS, to view the screening of my participation in the movie "REAL
WOMAN FOR SALE". I do not think anybody will notice me in this movie as the role I
played was 180 degrees different from the one I played in In Love with
The Dead but I am quite happy with it since I totally portrayed the
role I was supposed to be playing, without any planning or
preparations.
I didn't realize it was the second
screening day of the filat the HK ASIA FILM FESTIVAL. I just came back from overseas,
with all my mind carried away (like I said in my previous blog), how can I ever be more oblivious?
I was so
surprised when I saw the director and Leading actress Race Wong at the
end of the movie screening. I was that surprised I did not know what to
say. Where in the previous movie I was one of the main casts,
in this movie my part was short. Previously, I was sitting there as an audience
literally while watching myself showed up few in the film and suddenly
TURNING into one of the audience while the director and the lead
actress were being questioned with question related to the movies. Can
you feel what I feel? It is not about if this is my movie or anything... I am just happy to be part of the project and to be able to sit there as an audience where as I am actually not really supposedly that much of an audience for the project. AM I COMPLICATING THINGS? or do you actually understand what I am saying?
I was nervous. So everybody was given a chance to
ask question if he/she wishes. I wanted to say hi but I was not sure
it'd be a good idea as the crew had no idea I was there. Though the
audience may think of it as a cool gimmick for an actor to be seated in
the middle of the audience, I doubt any unsuspected surprises like that
would bring more pleasant realization to the crews then unplanned
appearances. Ow, God... Like a little girl, first time on stage, I was
nervous, so, I told myself if they did not pick me out of the crowd to
speak or ask question, I'd pass. guess what? I was passed the
microphone. Ok..... what should I say..
So I said plainly and innocently "Honestly, I did not buy this ticket
as I got it off a friend LAST MINUTE! I really enjoyed the movie. BUT I
just can't help but acknowledge I am totally surprised and in shock
that I get to see the director and Ms. Race here tonight. So,,.....
really.... I just want to say "Hi, Director! Hi, Race! hm... yea....
that's it and I am done, thank you!" and I passed the mic back. The
audience there might think (ow.. even the director might think what
the???? ) Come on... please forgive my ignorance of not knowing that it's the second screening (the moment I SPOKE)
In the end, I waited till almost all audience left to greet them both.
The director was surprised to see my presence there and he asked me why
I didn't come by to say "hi!". I just grinned!!!!
I said "I did FROM amongst the audience. remember the hi director hi race speech?" hahahaha.....
