Through a spiritual guidance I am introduced to the work of Deepak Chopra. To my own amazement, for some reason, I lost the book that I very much loved and I had no recollection whatsoever as to where I last saw the book. You could say I almost turn my world upside down trying to look for the where about of that precious book. In the end, I went up on amazon.com looking for it. Yet, I ended up with 29 books I intended to buy, however, in the recessive economy like one the world is facing now, I am not sure if investing the limited resouces on books is actually a straightforward life-impacting idea. Moreover, to chinese superstitions, books which pronounced as Shu, has the same tone with losing and here I was intending to buy 29 votes for losing. After a long inner debate, I ended up buying 11 and left 18 on my wishlists. The books will arrive in January. I can't wait to read them but at the mean time, I am looking around for something I can readily read. Reading takes my mind off things and opens up my sight to a bigger world, it also keeps me grounded to peace.

So, I went to my bookshelf and I picked up a book. I've read this book for less than 10 pages after I bought it, maybe around 4-5 years ago. I can't remember exactly where I purchased it, maybe at the airport. Yet, like usual, I am crazy about books... I always buy a bunch. I admit I purchased the book for its cool title which intrigued me. Yet, I let it stood on my shelf from one country to another till today. I dunno why I picked up this book yesterday but reading what is written on the cover made my eyes popped out. This is the comment written right under the title "Robert is a gifted teacher. His work transforms lives". You might think there is nothing special about it.However, what followed next blew my mind off. -Deepak Chopra. This book is written by Robert H. Yet, the name Deepak just blew my mind away. So.... I concsiously (no matter due to what reason I bought this book) picked up this particular book, brought it home, had it there till a time I am ready to read it. How mind blowing is that?

Yet, better is to come. Minutes before I wrote this blog (also is the very reason that initiated me to write this blog), I just started to flip the pages. There seems to be a pessage before the Prologue, captivated by its first sentence, I continued reading. This is how it goes:

There are two kinds of intelligence: One acquired, as a child in school memorizes facts and concepts from books and from what teacher says,
collecting information from the tradtional sciences as well as from the new sciences.

With such intelligence you rise in the world.
You get ranked ahead and behind others
in regard to your competence in retaining information. You stroll with this intelligence n and out of fields of knowledge, getting always more marks on your preserving tablets.

There is another kind of tablet, one already completed and preserved inside you.
A spring ovreflowing its springbox. A freshness int he centre of the chest. This other intelligence does not turn yello or stagnante. It's fluid, and it doesn't move from outside to inside through the conduits of plumbing-learning.

The second knowing is a fountainhead from with within you, moving out.

My mind got blown away for the second time.

Every person has something special to offer to the world. So much happened this year that brought me to realise the potential in me, the plan that is drawn for my life. I started to have a shift of purpose. A new vision so big... I doubt I can achieve on my own, or even carry it out to get it anywhere near to practice; for even starting on it means a marvel. I know there is nothing else I can do but to equip myself the best way I could and let others fall into place with time. The frustation of course comes from the possibilities that other than those I can control would never come to reality. 

Aa quote from one article I read reads "Pursuing your desires also means reconstructing our society, Each of us is the product of the world we live in; and yet, this world is itself the product of our own efforts. To reconstruct yourself and your life, you must reconstruct the world that constructs and affects you and for this, you will need everyone else's help. If we want to pursue happiness, we should take responsibility for the world we are creating, and together make sure that it will be one that creates happiness in us. But won't doing whatever we want pit us against each other? No--it will force us to work together.For the greatest, most ambitious endeavours cannot be carried though alone ; they require the participation of other people, even the whole societies".

Th period in which I stayed in Hong Kong showed me that I can't rely solely on my own strength, capabilities, and being. In order to achieve something I need help; a lot of help. For it is so limited what 1 person can do by himself. The article seemed to be talking directly to me in regards to my new vision... Yet... really... this is something I cannot control. To them who bump into one another by coincidences, is there a bigger plan for them? Why now? Why here? Why with the mentality?
