The Award Winning Vietnamese film 'White Silk Dress' ('Ao lua ha dong') was officially nominated as Vietnam's selection for the Best Foreign Film Oscar at the upcoming Oscar Awards in the US. Each nation can nominate one film and five are selected to become the finalists voted on the general public. The film won the Audience awards at both the Fukuoka Film Festival and the prestigious Pusan Film Festival.
