Famous fashion designer leaves her footprint in film industry

The 38^th HKIFF proudly presents the directing debut of famous French fashion designer agnès b., My Name is Hmmm… (Je M'appelle Hmmm…). She has been known for her self-named fashion brand for over forty years but she is more than just a famous fashion designer. She is passionate about every form of art. This eventually led her to sit on the director’s chair for the first time last year to produce her debut film. Audiences will now be able to spy on the world of creation of this great master.

The 38^th HKIFF will be held from 24 March to 7 April 2014, the full programme will be announced on 27 February.

Screening over 280 titles from more than 50 countries in 11 major cultural venues across the territory, the Festival is Hong Kong’s largest cultural event that reaches an audience of over 600,000, including 5,000 business executives who attend the Hong Kong International Film & Television Market (FILMART), a concurrent event of the HKIFF.
