Amelie is OK now, and she's so happy to go back to school this morning (she took a week off last week). She loves her friends in school, cos she's the only child at home.

I feel good too, when you became a Mom, you really don't have much free time. Celine Dion has concert in Macau on 3/15, I really wanted to go, but I can't leave Amelie alone with my E. I just don't feel safe, and she'd cry for me if I'm not around. This coming weekend "CAT" show is here! In SZ in the new Poly Theatre, very close to my home, I really want to go, but child under 100 cm is not allowed. I'll try this weekend to see if I can buy a ticket and bring Amelie inside.

Anyone know about the new elected Taiwan president? We watched Taiwan satellite TV all day on last Sat., cos we didn't go back fo vote. I feel so glad that Mr. Ma Ying-Jeou won the election, he's good-looking, honest man and hopefully, the economy of Taiwan will turn better. His wife was stilling taking bus to work this morning! Very "down-to-earth" first family, and hopefully no more corruption! Here is the TV ad., that really inspired everyone's heart!

yea hope that there's no more corruption in the world! i don't know much about Mr. Ma because i feel that the Taiwanese politicians aren't what they seem to be.. urg, but Mr. Ma may as well change my view, who knows?

That's good news about Amelie. It must be hard for you to go out since she's still kind of young. Hopefully it'll be easier as Amelie gets older.

Glad your child is feeling better. MIssing friends and school couldn't have been too fun for her while being sick and away.

awwwww, the sacrifices of a mommy (missing the celine concert! she's cdn, wooooooohooooo!)...

yup, i heard about mr. ma... he actually took a photo with my best friend while she is in taiwan on vacation! she happened to be in the right place and mr ma was trying to get some "citizens" shots for the media... and my best friend was right there! hehehe...

Oh right I didn't realise Ma Ying-Jeou's won the election. Could tell I'm not into politics at all. But heard that he's a good guy so glad he won.

So cool Celion Dion's singing in Macau...she was performing in the Venetian Hotel?

How tall is Amelie? She's not that far off from 100cm? Perhaps she can wear those wedge shoes (I'm seen them for kids too) to give her another inch.

good thing that Amelie like's school.. my Sydney hates it...... every morning, she says she doesn't want to go to school. it's funny

a concert is only a few hours. it would give your husband a chance to bond w/ his daughter and give you a chance to do something for yourself.

once in a while when mom's do things for themselves, it lets them unwind, recieve more input about the rest of the world and it makes us better moms.

if you can't get ur daughter in for the CATS show, i think there's a DVD version you can watch together ... or maybe they will be selling it at the ticket office.
