Continue or not?

(1) When you started to read a novel/ a book, but after some 50+ pages, you found it really boring and hard to concentrate reading it, will you stop reading the book? Or just jump to see the end of the book? Just leave the book aside? What would you do?

(2) When you watch a DVD at home, and you too, find it very boring and make you want to sleep, will you continue watching it? Fast forward to see the end of the story? Or just stop the DVD playing? What would you do?

I'd probably stop for reading and stop watching, but for the movie, I'd probably get back to it again in the near future... cause sometimes I just feel like my mind isn't there.. so I give it the second chance... hehehe... but books are harder... requires more time... hahaa...

i'd stop both unless it was required homework or someone recommended it to me and said it was really good, but starts slow

and with dvd.. i just don't watch it if it's boring

If the book is booring then I'd jump to read the ending. For DVDs depending on how free I am but usually same as Peachy...fast forward 1st then watch the ending.

2 maybe continue. i rarely bored with films.

i usually skip a few pages or a chapter...
for DVDs, i usually fall asleep! haha... it has happened before... where i fall asleep and mrAC just continues watching till the end! hahaha...

For the book, I'd jump to the next chapter and breeze through the paragraphs to see if it gets interesting. Many books start slow.

For DVDs, I watch it fast-forwarded 1x. If it's really boring, I skip chapters.
