Life is a series of good-byes...

Currently reading Tony Parsons' "Man and Wife", and this sentence is really touching me:

Life is a series of good-byes.....

My dog, Terry just passed away yesterday in Taipei.  Amelie and I thought we can see her next month, but it's still too late.  She is my favourite (Amelie's too), my love.....but she's too old, 13 yrs. old already (age 78 in human).  She gave me lots of good memories.  My Mom told me this morning that she's having a very difficult time before she died.  I can't stop my tears.......yes , life is a series of good-byes.....may she rest in peace.  (I wonder how to tell Amelie cos she said she has a gift for Terry when we go back to Taipei in Dec.)
