Meeting other mommies

Thanks to miaka, she intoduced another mommy N to me, who has moved to SZ from L.A. a year ago.  So we have lunch yesterday.  She's nice and freindly, and has a baby boy ( but she didn't bring him with her, too young).  We chatted about everything, and of course, I asked her to go to Kempinski Hotel to have high tea next time..  Anyone who comes to visit me in SZ, I'll bring you to Kempinski Hotel to have high tea!

After meeting miaka's friend, I have another coffee invitation from another mommy (Amelie's school mommy), she knows a few Taiwanese mommies fm. her neighbourhood.  So we have coffee in Starbucks, and the children ( 9 boys and girls)......running and chasing around each other in front of Starbucks.  Lucky we were in the shopping mall, and very few people there, so it's not so "disturb" to others, I think.....  Anyway, Amelie has so much fun to see her friend ( a boy who's half Japanese and half Chinese) from school and other big sisters and brothers.  One of the mommies asked her 2 other friends to come, so totally there were 7 mommies together, chatting in Starbucks, it's kind of noisy, and I felt kind of dizzy, cos so many infomation, stories.....all "feeding" me at the same time.  When I got home, I can't remember "who said what.....or who have which girl...."

I told N that I can be friend with anyone, who speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.  That's why other mommies (esp. in international school)  will think of me when they want to introduce their friends to me.  That's good, cos everyone is like a new immigrant here in SZ.  We can exchange info., and esp. there's really not much to do in here!
