Chatted with other mommies after school and reminded me of an incident some time ago.

One morning my E and I have some argument (don't ask me what it was, cos I forget it already, mostly small "business").  We went out to have lunch and I asked Amelie,

"Is Daddy wrong?  Ask your Dad to say sorry to me!"

Amelie," Dad, say sorry to Mommy!"

Dad, " don't you forget I bought 7 gifts fm. HK for you yesterday?  So who's wrong?  Is that mommy wrong?"

Amelie looked at me for a second, and she pointed to herself, "I'm wrong!"

I was surprised to hear that, so I asked again, " do u think Dad is wrong?"

She looked at Dad, and me , and she replied," no....I'm wrong"

How sweet she is!  Of course, my E and I can't get angry of each other anymore.

Lucky to have such a sweet girl.

i agree with Peachey, that parents should not bring kids into their arguments.  i have always been caught in the middle and it has always been very painful.

ahahaha...i do that too in the office, when 2 person's arguing, but not serious, just playfully...pointing fingers...and then i admit i'm wrong, but i'm not in the middle of the "conversation", i just pop up and say "MY FAULT"...at least it ends up in laughters...

lol! how cute, she took the blame so you both would stop pointing fingers at each other.

    How thoughtful.

I usually try keep my girls out of our arguments cos it's got nothing to do with them. It puts them on the spot and it's always painful to choose which parent to support bc they usually like one more than the other. haha. My girls have no problem always siding with me and sometimes their dad gets upset over that.
