sorry that i haven't been blogging again...

i was busy with this translation project i got for a road construction manual, which i thought would be good extra pocket money for my recent trip to South Korea...
turns out it was tougher than i thought, so i couldn't finish it in time, and i only got half the money for deposit to travel... so now i'm gonna continue finishing it by the end of this month to get the full pay, which some thought i wasn't paid good enough bcuz it's much lower than what usual translation jobs would pay... but it's ok, Japanese is not my strongest language to translate into English, so i'm learning too, learning costs money, so that's how i think about it... it may be little, but at least i'm improving by the day...

so on to my trip to Korea, i don't wanna say much about it, i'll let my pictures show about the trip later on... there were hick-ups too, but that's life, i guess that's my life? lots of hick-ups to teach me how to progress next, and what should be done, and not to be done...

and yesterday something really bad happened... my most important memory card died on me. in it was live performances that i took really hard effort in shooting, and also fireworks display that i took whilst being bumped into, being blocked, being not tall enough... maybe i left it in the laptop too long cuz i thought i did transfer the files, turns out it didn't go and when i checked again it died...

i never cried so bad over lost photos/videos before, but the thought of the hick-ups and efforts it took me to take this photo, not to mention the main reason i went there this time was to watch the Fireworks Festival, i broke down... 3 times... twice in front of my really good guy friends bcuz i was sending some souvenirs from Korea over...

so now, after the frustrations and not being able to sleep last night, i decided to go to Hong Kong to watch the concert that i missed in my own country while traveling in Korea... the BIGBANG Alive Tour that will run from 8-10 December 2012. lose 1, gain 1 back... or at least make an effort to go for something i really really wanna see... last year i saw GDTOP & Seungri performing for just a slot of Korean Music Wave in KL, so i know it's something that's worth the effort. money, i can still earn... but time lost... that's something i'll lose forever...

all friends that went in multiple different locations all said that it was a well worth concert to go for... Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, even the States... so now, the next nearest and most convenient location would be Hong Kong...

i checked the flight tickets and it's somewhere i can afford (to owe on my credit card)... as for the tickets... i'm wishing for my luck cuz tickets on Urbtix for all 3 days were sold out

now i'm waiting for people to reply me via Twitter or Facebook if there's anybody with extra tickets or what so ever...

so if anybody in AliveNotDead knows anybody who has tickets, or any helpful VIPs (BIGBANG fans) out there... please help me out... i just need 1 ticket... 1 ticket only...

thanks a bunch, i know i've not been be a great AnDer but i'm sure to share the remaining pictures that i have from Korea one of these nights...

Oh, I see. To be honest, a lot of K-pop groups look alike to me. LOL.

Are you a fan of the song Gangnam Style? Seems to be huge all over the place. Personally, I'm not a fan of the song. haha.

So did you get a ticket yet?

TS is a record label housing groups like Untouchable, Secret, and also their latest boy group B.A.P, very tough image ever since they debuted, a little different from the flower boy trend recently...

not that many, but the number is increasing... most of them go to KL (since it's the capital city) but a number of them secretly comes to KK (my place, great vacation spot) for vacation shoots... u just need to get first hand news fast enough to go spot them

yes, i think so... since it's America, and Asian food can cost a bit more because we're so far apart...

i'm pretty big on BIGBANG during 2008 - 2011, but ever since TS had their new boys out, i'm following them a lot and have seen Bang Yonggook & Zelo in person like face to face during a fan meeting session... also have their signed autograph :DDDDDD

I love Korean food, but it can be quite expensive in the states.

Good luck with the ticket! Are you a big fan of Big Bang?

    food tasting :)

favorite food? more like favorite meal... perhaps was a traditional Korean serving at a restaurant in Busan... saw that they serve pork and pork and pork, so we went in. and the ahjumma recommended us to take the Korean set... A LOT OF SIDE DISHES!!! but they were ALL REALLY GOOD!!!! especially the tempura prawn... yum... the crispiness is just nice, not too soft, not too hard, just tender to the teeth...

another girl who is probably from peninsular malaysia contacted me. she's also gonna go alone, so we're helping each other now. she found a better deal but a closer seat to the stage which is originally more expensive, but only demanding a little bit of "service fee" so i'm waiting for her reply... seems to be going smoothly... except for my flight ticket where my credit card still isn't going thru... must be lack of fund now XP gotta clear soon

Just trying foods is always good. hehe. What was your favorite food you ate there?
I like spicy food too. That is why I was asking if the Korean food in Korea is really spicy. Because in the U.S., the Korean restaurants' food aren't so spicy, maybe they adjusted the taste to Americans? So I'm wondering if the Korean food in Korea is spicier than the ones served in the U.S.

Hope you can get a ticket! Are you going by yourself?

it's not all spicy, though i like spicy food, but the spicy is not the spicy that we have in Malaysia... it's sorta different... but we did tasted a lot of different food at the festival, there's the korean fermented food, international food exhibition, street food, etc... many things to see but we lack understanding and the basic knowledge, we just went there to eat...

found tickets, only 1 person replied... kind of pricey... hope for other people to reply again tonight...

we were there just in time for 2 festivals: Jeonju Bibimbap & Food Festival, Busan Fireworks Festival... there's a concert 1 night before the fireworks, not to mention free tickets for foreign travelers, so that saved a lot of $$...

    *running over to Soompi forum*

Maybe you should check in the selling/trading section of Soompi forums. Some people may be selling tickets there.
So what did you do in South Korea this time?
