    the Live Earth concerts around the world have been going on for quite a few hours already, i'm just wondering, is it raising enough awareness? how do you measure the effectiveness of such a campaign?

    Artic Monkeys refused to perform 'cos they don't think that holding concerts will help to save the Earth.

    The Live Earth spokespeople have explained how they made these concerts as "environmentally-friendly" as possible.

    I think it has in some way, created some awareness, just to let people know how they can help save the earth, and what IS happening to the Earth at the moment.

    But whether or not it's just a passing phase/message to these people, whether they will actually TAKE ACTION to help save the earth, i don't even want to think about the odds.

    I have to admit though, everytime i hear Mr. Al Gore speak, it does make me want to do something to help save the earth.

    oh well, i've tried switching everything that i'm NOT using off (when i used to leave the lights in the living room on even though i'm in my own room).  i'd try not to use so much water in the shower (yea righttt).

    all right, back to watching my dear James Blunt perform in the UK concert now.
