    Went out to sea yesterday, and got some residual sea sickness hours after the trip.  Now that i thnk of it, my head is starting to spin again. 

    Nope, that's not me in the picture, but our mighty silent captain sailing through the storm.  Well, noone talked to him, but may be I should've chatted up w/ him and beg him to aviod those waves.

    Looking back, I think it was a good thing that I didn't buy a boat back in the states.  I was going save some housing cost and live on it like Tony Leung in Hard Boiled.  My grandfather was a sailor, so I though it was in my blood.  But I used to get motion sickness on bus rides as a kid, so there goes that theory. 

    After all the nausia, I almost got to tried to wakeboard too, but a down pour prevented that.  It was so bad out there, I couldn't even open my eyes to see, rain was splashing into my eyes.  I took a quick look and I felt like I was in the movie the perfect storm. 

    I won't swear off the boat though, I had been good on planes and other rides, I should get back on the horse and try to get used to it.  May be I'll even learn to stand on water?

    You need prescription drugs to deal with the seasickness.  It will never go away on its own, I speak from experience.  The new drugs they give for motion sickness are world away from the drowsy-inducing Dramamine from days of yore.  Talk to you doctor before your next boat ride.  Just the thought of setting foot in a boat has me feeling a bit green around the gills.  I really feel your pain.

    You should try a water bed.  Even you'll get seasick on it.
