Picked up my first copy of GR at Borders today. For some reason, I recognized the name (must be because of AnD) and was pleasantly surprised to see 3 articles I wanted to read on the front cover. This is all the more fascinating for me because I'm not into skate culture, manga, anime, gaming or even necessarily Asian American art as a category unto itself. Oh, and did I mention that I'm a 51 year old White female who lives in North Carolina and I don't dress in hip clothes like the young 20-something readers of your mag? I'm the age of those kids parents! But who could pass up articles/interviews featuring John Woo, Nick Cheung and Yonfan? Great job.

I narrowly missed meeting you at Comic Con this year and did have a good chat with Martin.

Am happy to be here, what a fun place, but while I'm here I'm not cleaning my house. Can someone clean it for me? I can make quick decisions at work, but I can't decide what t shirt to wear or what to feed myself. Do I want chocolate cake? I can't decide that. Do I need to decide of a schedule of art shows in our spaces within the next hour, yes, I can do that. Oh well. Before Giant Robot, I worked at Larry Flynt, and before that I was a photographer at the Palisadian Post newspaper. I like designing t shirts and occasionally a product of some sort. I blog, I like food, and watching bad TV. But I'm on my computer almost all day. There's so much to do and never enough time, but it's fun to try and catch up.
