"All's Well Ends Well 2009" Premiere Pt 1 家有囍事2009

I posted my review up of "All's Well, Ends Well 2009" (家有囍事2009) last night (actually early this morning),  here's a few pictures I took at the gala premiere in Hong Kong's Convention Center.

I only got the invite a few hours before the start (it seems like its always like that nowadays).  We were only able to get two tickets, so of course I had to bring Shan,  since she also appeared in the film in a small cameo... (more on that in the next blog!)

昨日晩ワンチャイで映画Premiereも一度参加した。映画監督 Vincent Kokの映画です、「家有囍事2009」と言います。その時写真いっぱい撮った。有名な香港映画人一杯が居るから写真を見て下さい！

They had two areas set up, one was a sign board (above), and the second one was a stage.  Here's Shan modeling in front of the sign board. (no one gave us a pen to sign). :-(


Here i am with the director himself Vincent Kok.  I was going to take off my hat, but Shan warned me that I had a big red line across my forehead from the hat. :-P

Hey i recognize that statuesque beauty anywhere... Lynn Hung (熊黛林), who I just saw a few weeks ago at the Ip Man premiere.

On the big stage they had some kids doing some chinese dance.  Then they had some charity people go up (the premiere was cohosted by a charity organization)


Then the cast and director went onto the stage for some photo ops:

Since this is a New Years film and Chinese New Years is right around the corner they brought out some novelty size match sticks and firecrackers... 

They played some fake firecracker sounds and then:

Thats Ronald Cheng on the right.  He is really good in this film.
