    ROTTEN: 3/10  3/10 Movie: In the Land of Women (2007)

    Watched it on the plane.

    Title sounds like some sort of softcore lesbian p0rn, BUT it wasn't...

    What a weird, weird movie... its not even trying to be a weird movie. Its some sort of bizarre hybrid of a melodrama about Meg Ryan having breast cancer... AND its a strange teen comedy about meg ryan's teenage daughter.... AND they're both having weird awkward romantic feelings about the 26 year old writer who moves next door to take care of his aging grandmother. (yes, he takes the teenage high school girl out on dates, with the consent of the mom he has weird romantic feelings with... )



    Weird, strange, not good.
    3/10.

    it was one of those plane rides where you don't have in-seat video... which means no choice.  I did play w/ my DS and my laptop during most of the movie,  don't worry....
