  • Before John Legend Came Out... Tor+ and Julia Duncan

    Ok, in yesterday's blog about the John Legend 'Evolver' CD Listening Party in Hong Kong,  I actually put the main course in and left out the appetizer... before John Legend came out, they had a Thai Pianist named Tor Saksit come out and play some songs.   He is signed up with Sony BMG Asia, who was hosting the John Legend event.


    He is very talented, but just sitting around watching a guy play piano for more than a few minutes can get kind of dry, so they brought out a singer too Julia Duncan, a Filipina-American singer who is also signed w/ Sony BMG Asia.   She is quite statuesque, as you can see:

    Yep, ToR is great. His family is so sweet. Hopefully we meet up soon. When you get to know him personally, that pianist image of him just washes away. He's awesome!
