Charlie Brown... the cafe! 香港のチャーリー・ブラウン・カフェ

No matter how long you live in a place, there's always something more to see that you haven't had a chance to discover yet...  this week marks the 2nd anniversary of my moving to HK, but I just found out I had been MISSING OUT! 

It turns out Hong Kong has a chain of cafes known as the 'Charlie Brown Cafe'.... and its not named after the famed Washington Redskins football player from the 80s...

香港に2年間住んでたけど、何時でも新面白所を見つけます、2週前、ミオちゃんは香港に居た時、一緒チャーリー・ブラウン・カフェへ行った。彼女はMIXIから習った。この前僕は全然聞いた事がない。何個店が有るけど、TSTの店一番と聞いた：


Yes,  an entire cafe themed on the Peanuts characters...  (official website)

Mio had found out about it on the japanese website mixi, and wanted to go... apparently the best one is on Cameron Road in TST...

Apparently a LOT of japanese women find out about this place online, cause there were four or five Japanese moms there... (unfortunately most of them brought their kids!)  :-P

I thought this was funny... very Hong Kong...  its an advertisement for special Peanuts themed Mooncakes... the mid-autumn festival is coming up, gotta get your Lucy Van Pelt moon cake!

they actually had a lot of Peanuts themed stuff in the place and on the menu,  I didn't want to seem like a total geek so I didn't take a lot of pics, here's one more interesting one though:

on the stairs up from the street they had several of these statues on the banisters...   its Lesbian domestic partner Peppermint Patty! 実はこのチャラクターはレスです。知っていますか？
