6/10 Movie: The Dark Knight (2008)

94%? 'one of the best movies of 2008'? hmm... I think i must have been watching a different movie... cause 'Dark Knight' was ok, but definitely did not thrill me THAT much.

Performances were good. budget was high... but I can't say this movie was great... It was a bit too creepy for me to enjoy... too many things didn't really make a lot of sense, its WAY too long, but most of all, overly complicated.

I don't want to give any spoilers, but way too many twists and turns and 'he let us figure this out on purpose...'

I was also a bit disappointed to learn the scenes filmed in Hong Kong were rather short -- only about 10 minutes of the film - but I was happy to see the scene I saw them filming on the Mid-level Escalators last fall made it into the final cut!)... I want to go back and freeze frame the DVD to see if you can see me in the brief millisecond they show Christian Bale walking away from Morgan Freeman... The good news - my cameo appearence is only slightly shorter than Edison Chen's! ;-)

I agree, it wasn't that great. I thought it was going to end 3 different times but it kept on draggin on.

Haha, serious? I saw The Medallion on Saturday night and was delighted to learn that Edison and Nic had cameos - and found it hilarious that they had such small parts.

XibanyaE - oh yeah of course its totally believable... that and it stops and turns around when it hits a wall... oh, i forgot to mention, it doubles as the front suspension of the car, AND it has machine guns...

just watched it, pretty good, liked the crazyness/creepyness of the joker, the mindgames and the action in general, pretty good,
now, do you think that bike with those fat wheels (which were pretty much flat on surface) could sway from side to side like it did? i kind of doubt it ;)
