First Macau Trip of 09　2009の初めのマカオトリープ

Patrick and I took a last minute trip to Macau yesterday (for work!)
昨日パト君と僕先マカオへ行った。あそこで会議有った（出張だったよ！）

I took a few random pics with my phone cam and one or two w/ my regular camera:

this is the pool area at the Venetian...    Pretty swanky.  It looks like its a nice summer day, but actually it was a bit chilly. べネチアンカジノのプールです。とても広い！


I know i say it in all my blogs about Macau... but the Venetian is CRAZY huge.  Especially when you come from HK where everything is extra crowded... your first thought is "my god, there's so much space!"  :-P


we got a nice sunset too (thats Zhuhai in the back)... except I wasn't able to get a good shot out of the window of our bus). :-P

Life is full of unexpected surprises. In this case we found ourselves with a little downtime so we called up our best Macau buddy who came by and picked us up:

Yes, we got to enjoy some home cooked dinner w/ our homeboy Jun:

ジュン君の家族と一緒晩御飯を食べた！クレーチケンだった。美味しかった！


(btw - its amazing to hear Macanese people talking around the dinner table.. Cantonese + Portugese + English all in one sentence!)



After dinner we stopped by the Sands casino to meet up with another friend:

It turns out they have a REALLY nice bar on the top floor.  Its called 'The View'... for obvious reasons:


I should have taken more pictures (of the dancers...)  :-P

Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to find some more excuses to go over there again soon!

香港来たら、マカオもいけなければなりませんよ！
