Its been pretty busy the last two days. I'm flying to Singapore for a conference tonight, so there's a lot of stuff to get done before I go. I'll try to write up a few blogs on the plane (IF i finish writing my slides before my battery dies).

最近も一度忙しいなりました。今晩シンジャポールへ行く、出張為。。。

In the meanwhile, one quick picture from yesterday when I went to the visa office. I had to go get my new work visa (yes, I finally got my extension approved!):

Its some kind of self-serve automated kiosk for ID card or visas or something... I'm not sure why they have to be shaped like a giant round headed immigration officer with a TV screen in his mouth though...

昨日外国人仕事ビサを再下付した、入国管理局中この自動キオスクが有る・面白いですか？如何して入国審査官をみたい?

not yet! took me forever to compile all the info they asked us for. still waiting to hear back. in my case i am lucky.b extensions is a different office from new visa apps.

cute... haha. the computer screen is their mouth, as that's where most communication happens.

That's a nice touch to have those machines, they look cute. Never did a visa office look so welcoming.
