Hawaii pt 5c: THK Screening

As i mentioned on the day of,  this was a busy day!  We had snorkeling in the afternoon and then in the evening the big show - The Heavenly Kings screening at the Hawaii International Film Festival!     (followed by the after party, which you'll have to wait to see pics from...) :-P

Here are my pics from the THK screening...

We arrived a bit before the screening started.  Daniel and Andrew got a ride from the festival organizers so we met them in some room upstairs from the theater where they could meet w/ some press people.

They took a group picture:

The most of the crew and most of the cast!  (Except Conroy, who was using the bathroom or something...  and Terence wasn't able to make it to hawaii  I don't know where Kim was either...)

They shuttled the 'talent' down to the theater to intro the movie before the screening started.  On the way Daniel got stopped by some of the festival volunteers for autographs...

As you can see the hardcore fans were out in force (and staking out the front row seats to get a better view... )


After intro-ing the film, some girls came out and stopped them for more pictures. Being a movie star is a tough life.  ;-)

ハードコーファンスもちろん来た。

None of us sat through the movie (even though I haven't seen it in a long time).  But towards the end everyone assembled in the back to get ready for the Q and A...

yes i did take a picture with my flash. :-P


Although he couldn't be there in 3D,  this larger than life 2D version of Terence was there at least. ;-)

Daniel being the more talkative of the bunch did most of the talking during the Q and A...
