Let me state for the record that I love Race and Rosanne Wong (also known as '2R'). They are both very nice girls and I appreciate the help and the support they've given to us here.

That said - i did NOT like watching their 2004 debut film 'Abnormal Beauty', directed by Oxide Pang... the film is well made, beautifully shot, well directed and well acted. BUT.... I just do not like creepy morbid sadistic kinds of movies.... which Abnormal Beauty ends up being, especially at the end.

Its about a student who finds herself getting fixated on taking photos of death... I won't go into too much more detail other than to say its quite morbid, and especially at the end there's a lot of sadistic scenes i didn't enjoy at all. After I typed this up I read Kozo's review at lovehkfilm, I definitely agree with his view! not my kind of movie at ALL!

So... if you're into horror check it out, but if you just want to see Race and Rosanne in a movie, wait for 'Shanghai'... ;-)

it is shown in Malaysia TV today! It' sthe Hungry Ghost Festival month (lunar calendar - 7th month) & TV stations will usually aired spooky type of shows.

it's actually one of my fave movies..I really loved the atmosphere..but again...I love horror movies =P

I remember Abnormal Beauty very well. I quite enjoyed it, I like suspenseful horrors, parts I didn't but storywise and acting I thought it was pretty good.

I also saw this movie.
Horror movie is a wonderful movie.
The reason is that it overflows to imagination and device.
And, horror movie expresses the nature of humankind very well.

Were you able to find 鄭伊健 in this movie?(･∀･)

Yeah, I read the synopsis online cause I'd wanted to check out some of their movies. I can't watch horror... I had a hard enough time watching "New Police Story" cause the violence tweaked me so much at the beginning, I was pratically crying at the end of the beginning (know what I mean?!)... I'm a softie :)
