Thank you KMB, you made my next 11 months...

Tuesday I happened upon a new sight when I walked out to the sidewalk:

oh snap, where'd that come from?!? they just put a new stop for the bus that goes straight to the office right in front of my house!

I usually go to work via 1 of 3 methods -
1) take my building's shuttle bus to MTR (HK subway), walk to office
2) take a taxi to MTR, walk to office
3) take 115 cross harbor bus to depot across the street from office.

There are problems and benefits with each of the three choices (shuttle leaves only once every 15 minutes,  taxi is more costly, bus comes only once every 20 mins)...

One of the main problems with the bus was that the stop was a good 5+ minute, 3 block walk from my building.   Sometimes as i'm leaving my building i see the bus coming and I have to run three blocks to get to the stop before the bus does.   this sucks if you just ate breakfast and/or its March to November (super muggy period in HK). Missing it sucks even worse, cause now you're 3 blocks away, sweaty and forced to wait 20 minutes for the next one.


But apparently someone at KMB must be doing their job and figured out that a bus stop here would be a good idea.  I fully concur!   Now my new plan for getting to work,  stand here til the 115 comes, if it doesn't come by the time the shuttle bus is about to leave, run back to the shuttle bus. ;-)
