Tokyo Oct 08 - Halloween in Japan - Best Costume Ever!

The cat is already out of the bag because Jane and Mio tagged me in a bunch of photos, but in case you hadn't seen it yet, this is from last Saturday night in Japan:

I decided to wait til i got to Japan to buy a costume, since it is the world capital of 'cosplay'.  I decided to go for something safe and family friendly:

Yes,  I am beloved video game character MARIO.... who apparently in Japan is more popular that Mickey Mouse...  As we walked down the street people would start singing the Super Mario Brothers theme song or shouting "hey mario, where's luigi?" (in English and Japanese).


We went to dinner, then met up with Mai and went to a friend's bar, then a fancy halloween party then another club in Roppongi... I had a good time!


Why did I have a good time?  Well one reason was because about 100 girls came up to me asking to take a picture with me!  Seriously!  Here's just a few examples!

By the time this is online i should be busy partying it down at alivenotdead.com's first annual Halloween Party.  I'm worried it will be super packed... we should have gotten a bigger club. :-P
