A few extra shots worth sharing from Monday (besides Tommy Lee and Namahage Sumo!) 月曜日のほかの写真です。見て下さい!
First part:
On my way to grab the subway to Ginza to meet Mio and Watanabe-san, I passed this weird guy on the stairs going out of the subway station... the first thing I noticed was his strange eyebrows, they looked like they were tweezed and penciled in... very strange for Japan... and the next thing I noticed was his frizzy permed hair and white socks to go with his black loafers.
It wasn't until he was two steps past me that it hit me... Holy crap, its a Japanese Michael Jackson impersonator! (circa ~1991's 'Dangerous' album. Think 'Black or White' music video).

I quickly turned around and chased him up the stairs and grabbed my camera, I couldn't sneak a shot of his face w/o being too obvious, but I got one from the side.

Second part:
Because I hadn't eaten much all day, I got pretty hungry around 3am, since I was staying in Roppongi, Ichiran (一蘭) was only a short walk away:
Went for my standard... never fails to please. ;-)

Delicious of course!
And since I know you're curious, trust me when I say you probably don't want to know what that free magazine I picked up at the front of the restaurant is... (Believe it or not, its some kind of classified jobs listing magazine for women who work in the Japanese 'nightlife' trade!)
I was quite satisfied after my late night ramen run, but unfortunately since it was 3am on a Monday night - there was NO ONE on the street except me and the 'working people'... so I had to run a gauntlet of Chinese 'ma-sa-ji?' women and those annoying African guys who try to get you to go into their crappy clubs... :-P
more coming tomorrow!
