Finally I get to put up some good pictures from Warlords! I even got some video too!

Last night we were able to attend the 'Charity Premiere' for Jet's new film Warlords (here's pictures from the 'regular' premiere on Monday). I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from this one, but it turns out it was a chance for Jet to do some fundraising for The One Foundation, his charity organization... namely receive another donation from San Miguel Beer, one of the companies he does advertising for.

火曜日晩は僕達一緒ジェット・リーの新映画「投名狀」のプレミアショーのイベントへ行った。昨日は初めイベント時ジェット・リー (李連杰),アンディ・ラウ(劉徳華), と金城武が居た、今回はジェットの慈善'The One Foundation'為にのイベント！

Yes, they even brought out the novelty check... 400,000 HK$ = US$50,000! great job San Miguel!　サンミゲールビール会社からHK$40万送られました！すごい！（500万円です！）

Unlike the previous day, this time the events were just held in the theater's lobby:

San Miguel wants to get their money's worth for their donation, so as you can guess, their signs were everywhere and they were looping their Jet Li Beer Commercial in between the Warlords Trailer on all the TV screens.　ジェットさんはビール会社のCMをしたから、映画為にのPRキャンペーンした。

Why are these guys looking so happy?　会社員です。。。如何して嬉しい？

Oh yes, free beer! 　無料ビール有るから！

In addition to several coolers full of free beer, they also had about 5 or 6 'Beer Girls' standing around... a bit strange seeing girls in yellow vinyl mini skirts and go-go boots while the excessively bloody trailer loops on the screen behind them.　ビールギャール何人もありました。かわいい！バナナーみたい！　：－D

After Eric's 3rd or 4th beer the show finally started:　何分待った後ジェット君が来た！映画の監督ピーター・チャン一緒。。。

The MC kept referring to the people in our section as 'fans'... not sure how that came to be... not like the fans who were screaming for Andy Lau the day before with their posters and light-up signs. :-P　’ファン達’です

Peter Chan and Jet did some interviews with the TV crews, I think the one closest to me was from 'Phoenix TV'.　テレビニューズからインタビーウもした。

I finally could get some close-ups.　もと近写真さき取れました！

There were a few VIPs who came to this one too (i'm guessing either people who couldn't make it to the previous night's one or who really like free beer:　有名な人何人も居ました：

The beautiful Miss Li Xiaolu (李小璐 - you may recognize her from the film 'Blood Brothers'(天堂口) - click here for my premiere pics from that film)　ルー・シャオレイちゃん(ダンイエルの映画「天堂口」に居ました)

These three attractive girls were also getting a lot of attention from the press:

it turns out they're some sort of cantopop girl group... which i have been told by people reading this is called 'Freeze'... i'll let their video do the talking...

この三綺麗女の子は”Freeze”といいます。ギャ－ルバンドですね？（形成外科のバンドですよ！）

Last but not least, they had some costumes:

These are (L-R) Takeshi's, Andy's and Jet's costumes from the film.

You have a special style. Your father is my super idol.He is the big brother in Hongkong & Maco. In fact, he is a hero in my heart. I think lots of people regard him as a hero. Hope that you would become into a big movie star. May be we will have a chance to work in a film crew. Come on,man.

one thing is that now w/ the new photo tagging, hypothetically she could be commenting on the specific photo in Jet's 'photos I'm in' directory.... never seeing this blog entry, never knowing that Jet didn't post that photo up himself (like he does with all his blogs and other photo albums). :-P

Warlords looks amazing. Why does it always take so long to get your new movies in America. I live in the heart of america-Kansas city,Missouri and it takes forever to get your new movies,and ,then they are all cut up,it seems like half the movie is missing,so i only purchase the mandarin versions. there is more movie in the one's for China. I think you don't think we notice all the missing footage,but we do.I want to see the whole complete movie,not a cut up american piece of movie. I would also like to see the MISTAKES and TAKEOUTS i bet they are wonderful. I have two of each of your movies and the books about you,you are amazing and have grown even better with each movie,i am very proud of your accomplishments.
