    the jaywalking police made a show of force on the corner on Thursday morning:



    four of these guys in the brown caps + one motorcycle cop just for this corner,  not including the opposite corner.

    it was a show of force, since there's cars coming at high speed (but infrequently) off an overpass here...  they were all gone the next day.

    LOL@ MissScarlett's comment... that's a lot to guard one crosswalk... I guess this one is a busy intersection? we should get some of these at the chinatown here... hahaa...

    Do vehicles stop for people in crosswalks in HK?  Jaywalking is a crazy way to cross unless it's 3 a.m. and no one's on the streets.

    Meanwhile, at a jewelry store two blocks away, the place was cleaned out by masked gunmen, BUT, no one jaywalked darn it!
