Great stuff:
Focus on Film conducts The Nokia Seeding Project with Pangea Day.

We are looking for a dozen young film makers to take part.
All selected artists receive (and get to keep... yowza!.... ) a new Nokia N-95 video phone!
Phone film makers will shoot their own piece with their new baby and give FoF the memory stick.

In order to qualify, you must be between 11 and 26 years old. and you must register by shooting a one minute piece with any phone and

If you are interested in any aspect of film making and you are under 27 years of age then Focus on Film is for you. We are Hong Kong's premiere non profit film production teaching arts organization. Dedicated not only to providing you with the tools to create according to your vision but also to providing you with a plaform for getting your work seen. In the year since our launch we have reached over 250 people, over 10,000 people have viewed FoF produced work, we have over 24 short films in our library and we have had student work broadcast on ATV.

Our film making camps are a great way to learn film production by doing. Our film events are venues to bring people in the industry to you by showcasing your talent and work. We are always looking for scripts, short and long, in any language in order to have material to shoot and we are always intersted in new talent. Our apprentice program offers a unique opportunity for those still learning to get involved in professional production as assistants.

At Focus on Film we are ultimately interested in bridging the two worlds of Cantonese and English speaking media arts production in our target age range. For that we need your support.
