oh boy... I really need to get back to this blogging business!  Lately, I've been just lazy!  I haven't done anything new and the whole fencing thing I did in the fall was a bust after about 3 classes since I injured myself (possibly pulled a groin ) and I couldn't lunge anymore, so that basically spelled the end of fencing for me.

I'm doing more gentle activities lately - back to yoga and I started pilates at my gym.  It's pretty intense and hopefully, it'll give me a leaner body :)

I impulsively bought an 'escape pass' from Air Canada which basically gives me 2 round trip flights in a certain travel zone (for me, I'm just flying to Vancouver) and then a bonus pass, which I'm using to fly to HK.  So for a grand total of $829 including all taxes, surcharges, and fees, I have 2 domestic and 1 international flight!  It was a super sweet deal and hopefully, they'll have it again next year.  The international flights were restricted to several locales including London, Paris, Sao Paulo, Lima, and HK.   The only other bad thing is they restrict the times that you can fly.  There are lots of black out periods so I had to use one last weekend (it was a long weekend for some of us in Canada)  I went to Vancouver and did a lot of fun outdoorsy things that I normally never do.  It's funny how for going to Vancouver 9 times, last weekend was the first time I ever rode a bike all the way around Stanley park.  I wish I had done it sooner   It was 10Km all around but to be riding outdoors with the ocean breeze in your hair and the fresh air made me feel like I was 10 again... (which was probably also the last time I was really on a bike!!!)

anyway, lemme just share some pics of some of the outdoor activities I did!

The 'escape pass' from Air Canada sounds like a awesome deal.  Pilates is pretty intense at first but if you keep it up you won't be sorry.  It's definitely improve your abs and body line.

Lynn Canyon looks beautiful and peaceful. And That's a great deal on the flights!

It's a shame about the fencing but it's best to be safe rather than sorry and everyone swears by yoga to creating lean muscles.Hope you continue to see benefits from Yoga and Pilates

That sounds like a great air travel pkg. Guess one's gotta keep their eyes and ears open to catch such deals.

You hair has really grown from what I remember last. Wavy too.

Cycling around a park sounds so relaxing. The cold didn't chill your nose and ears much? I stopped by at Stanley Pk for a few minutes and decided that was enough. heehee. It was winter so....
