the weekend

It finally warmed up this weekend so temperatures were slightly above the freezing mark!  I went to do some ice skating at the giant pond @ Hawrelak Park.  Although the weather was lovely, the ice conditions were terrible - bumps and cracks all over the place!  I was doing pretty good until the very end when I totally wiped out   I fell backwards, flew in the air, landed on my bum, wrist, and ALMOST hurt my friend badly when my skate came down on his leg...   thank goodness no one was really hurt but I'm still a bit sore in my wrist today...

after skating for 2 hours, we went for hot pot at a new place in town - it was pretty reasonable... all you can eat for $20 and the food was fresh and the restaurant was clean.

The weather is all over the map this week - it's predicted to rain/snow today which is going to be bad for the roads but the weather is supposed to warm up this weekend
