    Today's activity. . .

    What child doesn't love to color? Crayons are the beginning of a life filled with color and art. Since 1903, when the first box of eight color crayons was sold, those eight colors have paved the way to some of the most fun we've ever had introducing color into our worlds. Today we're going to revisit those eight colors. Grab a digital camera. Your task today is to take a picture of something that is one of the eight colors in the standard box of crayons. You should be taking eight pictures, one each of the something that represents blue, red, yellow, orange, green, purple, brown, and black. The picture should be framed in such a way that the color in question is completely dominant, it should take up most of the frame. There should be no question what color the picture is for. Thank You, Crayola!

    - my addition to the activity: a similar object can only be used once for one color. for example, I photograph a green pen (for the green pic), I can't use a different color pen for another color pic. Yea? Okay, Snap Away!!!
